Difference between Kali linux and parrot security Os ?

We all know that Kali linux and the parrot security Operating system are belongs to the family which is used for hacking.Here we can take a look what are the differences among them.Even though these two Operating systems are using for the same purpose they have some differences first of all we can take take look what is exactly these two OS ,

        Kali linux is open source debian-based linux distribution which is used for penetration testing and security auditing.Kali linux contains tremendous tools which is using for the information security tasks such pen testing, security research,computer forensic and Reverse engineering.It contains tools such as the Nmap,Burpsuite,Wireshark etc.It was released on the 13th March 2013.

        Parrot security operating system is also from the family of debian based linux distribution which was built by FROZENBOX NETWORK for the cloud oriented penetration testing and security auditing.it also provides various tools like TOR,Onionshare,Anonsurf,Kayak etc. It was released on the 10th April 2013 Now let's take a look to the differences between the Kali linux and the Parrot operating system.


        Kali linux requires more RAM ,almost about 1GB while the parrot OS requires lesser RAM about 320 MB ,if we are using the kali linux its GPU configuration ,it requires graphical card because it needs the graphical acceleration,while using parrot OS we don't need to worry about it because it does not need the graphical acceleration hence it does not need the graphics card.Then we are looking how much free space needed for installation well kali linux need 20GB of free space while parrot OS need only 16GB free space.

    If we look the pre-installed compilers and IDE parrot OS is the best one because the parrot OS comes with a bunch of pre-installed compilers and IDEs while kali linux not.When it comes to the interface Kali linux has the simple user interface.Then the question is which is light weight OS clearly we can say that parrot OS is lighter than Kali linux. While both of OS are mainly used for the hacking, studies and researches are proving that Parrot OS is the clear winner over the kali linux because of its general tools and its usablity.
